Make a Million Dollars as a Film Blogger or Geek
No, it’s not a come on for Amway and I’m not insane — but Who Wants to Be a Millionaire is doing auditions next week for a movie-based week of games at three locations they’ve announced so far, the Sycuan Casino, near San Diego, one week from today (Monday, 8/20/07), the Gila River Casino, near Phoenix, on Wednesday the 22nd, and the Medieval Times in Schaumberg, Illinois on Friday the 24th. (Such classy locations.)
If you’re interested, see the details here. I’ll be at the audition at the Sycuan (and staying overnight before, trying not to spend too much time at the blackjack and/or 7-card stud tables) and I want to encourage film bloggers in particular to give it a whirl. If one or more of us can get on the air, it might be cool, or embarrassing, or both.

Wow. If they were coming any closer to NY, I’d totally do it. I tried to apply for the movie week last year, but at the time I was working for one of their affiliated companies (is there a statute of limitations on that? I wonder…)
Anyway, you should definitely blog about the auditions, if they don’t make you sign a secrecy waiver.

I’m guessing there probably is some sort of not very lengthy “statute of limitations.”
As for blogging about it, I’m sure — short of some massive legal embargo — I’ll write SOMETHING about it.
