Yes, it’s a thin line between Bob Fosse and Porky Pig and, yes, this is the long un-awaited post-mortem on the Fossethon (if you’re just happening by, proceed immediately to the hub page, and all will be made clear) which I’m now declaring officially over.

Mainly, I just want to take a moment to thank everyone who helped me out on this, starting with my erstwhile provider of bandwidth and all around Internet helper BKS, and cartooning genius Randy Reynaldo who did such a superb job of designing the colorful and spirited special Fossethon banner.

And, finally, I’d like to thank, once again, the bloggers out there who discovered the Fossethon all on their own and supported it pretty much from the day it was first posted, Karina at Spoutblog and Seb at Artswom as well as for their posts and overall support, which definitely made a big difference to me. Also I should thank Dennis Cozzalio and Campuspe, aka the Self Styled Siren, for being just cool folks, answering my e-mails, and generally saying nice things and linking here. Also, everyone who commented. I like comments.

That’s it for now. The Fossethon banner is gone as I write this, but will be making a triumphant return for a few more days, partly because it’s cool and partly because I’ve neglected other stuff in all the writing and preparation and now all that other stuff demands my attention. So, posting may be light to nil through next weekend. After that, I may finally have some time to focus on other movies, the writer’s strike, whoever’s dying these days, and so on.
